v4.0 [Jan 14, 2012]
- German Version
- Dutch Version
- French Version
- computer evaluations are now shown in the candidate move list
- example database was not automatically loaded
- photo reading mode could crash randomly
- database without file extension could be created which could not be reloaded unless it was renamed
- skins switched back to dark side
- entering a minus symbol for a position evaluation could lead to a crash
- Switching between Opening and Training module would not save the last loaded openings.
- if no opening was loaded in the Opening module the Training would crash if you select one from the list
- Openings could be switched during training
- Import button was shown without an existing repertoire
- License data was not updated after registration. Restart was needed
- deleting a candidate move would not mark the potentially new first ranked candidate move as "best" which eventually would lead to problems with the training module (as a candidate move existed, but none was marked as "best"). Now the training module is more fault-tolerant and you can correct these positions. A missing "best" marking for a candidate move is automatically updated once you reach such a position.
- ambigous move not accepted during training. E.g. Nge2 was stored in the database although the correct notation would be Ne2 as the other knight is pinned. In such a case you could not pass the position during a training session as your reply doesn't fit the stored move notation. While the PGN import should automatically detect such incorrectly notations and correct it they still sometimes get into the program (e.g. old CPT database). Solution: go to the opening module to the corresponding position. Make the move manually. It should add the correct notation this time. Then delete the incorrect move.
